Trompe L'oeil

The interior design concept for Parkside at College Park was inspired by the University of Maryland's rich architectural style and history. The City of College Park features architecture of various early American styles, such as Queen Anne, Federal and Colonial Georgian. Incorporating traditional paint details in a trompe l'oeil painting style gives a cheeky nod to the locale's historical context, while embracing the quirks that come along with an existing building renovation.
